Chromium Alloys

In the metallurgical industry, most chromium is alloyed with iron for making stainless steel. The remainder is used to make nonferrous alloys, such as aluminum, cobalt, copper, nickel, and titanium alloys. Nickel–chromium Alloy features good oxidation resistance at high temperatures and resistance to chloride ion, stress-corrosion cracking, corrosion by high-purity water, and caustic corrosion.
